Paul Fontaine serves as the Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance at SG Property Services, LLC, overseeing all financial operations. Prior to joining SG Property Services, Paul held the role of Director of Accounting & Investor Relations at Curated Equities, Inc., a startup focused on investing in professional service companies and real estate ventures such as Tiny Homes and infill residential housing in Atlanta.
A graduate of The University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Paul launched his career at Ernst & Young, LLP, Hartford, Connecticut, where he gained experience as an auditor. Relocating to Atlanta, he progressed from Senior Accountant at Compass Retail, Inc. to Assistant Controller at Facility Group, Inc., and subsequently to positions at M.D. Hodges and Jamestown, L.P.
During his tenure at Jamestown, L.P., a prominent German real estate investment company, Paul held various leadership roles, culminating in Director of Corporate Accounting. His responsibilities included managing the corporate accounting department, streamlining processes, and collaborating with the Cologne, Germany office on investor reconciliations and reporting.
Following his time at Jamestown L.P., Paul served as Portfolio Controller at Pegasus Residential, overseeing financial operations for a portfolio of multi-family residential properties. He then joined OA Development, Inc. as Managing Director of Accounting & Technology, where he modernized accounting processes and implemented financial technology solutions for the firm’s real estate investments in Atlanta, Raleigh, and Charlotte markets.
Paul lives in Marietta, Georgia with Erika, his wife of 27 years and his two children, Rachel, 24 and Brian, 23. He enjoys hiking, travelling, reading and dabbles in AI art and is a fervent fan of his alma mater, the University of Connecticut Huskies basketball teams.
